Spend a couple of minutes and take a 365 degree turn in any room in your house. Let your eyes fall on each item.
Pick out any piece and ask yourself this question —why did I spend my hard earned dollars on this article?
Was it the:
• Price?
• Usefulness?
• Color?
• Design?
• Size?
• Brand?
• Quality?
• Uniqueness?
• Feel?
Was it:
• A conversation piece?
• A dare?
• An impulse?
Did it:
• Comfort me?
• Somehow reflect me?
• Remind me of a time?
• Remind me of a person?
• Make me feel better?
• Relax me?
• Solve a problem?
• Accomplish a goal?
• Satisfy a need?
Every item in the room is a product.
Everything in this list is a benefit.
Try to remember this the next time you are doing a post or tweet of the product you are trying to sell.
Think attraction rather than promotion.
Think benefit.
Change something today to make your tomorrow better.
